A l’occasion de la 13ème édition du Festival International du Film Transsaharien de Zagora (Maroc) qui a eu lieu du 22 au 26 Décembre 2016 dans la ville de Zagora, le Jury de la Critique Africaine instauré par la Fédération Africaine de la Critique Cinématographique (F.A.C.C) a décerné son prix au film :
Titre en Français : Les hommes d’argile
Réalisateur : Mourad Boucif
Pays : Maroc
Le jury, qui était composé des critiques Fatou Kiné Sène (Sénégal) présidente, Abraham Bayili (Burkina Faso et Rachid Naim (Maroc), a salué dans le film « la poésie de ses images, la force de son propos et le puissant lyrisme dont il a fait preuve« .
Le film rend hommage aux milliers d’hommes marocains enrôlés de force dans l’armée française lors de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.

The African Critics’ Award jury comprised of three members, Fatou Kiné Sène (Senegal) president, Abraham Bayili (Burkina Faso) and Rachid Naim (Maroc), appreciated this feature as a « poetic film by its photography », for the « strength of the message » and it’s « Lyricism ».
