Mercédès Fouda est née au Cameroun. Auteur, dramaturge et comédienne, elle s’intéresse à la langue sous toutes ses formes :
Ayant remporté un prix d’orthographe à la fameuse dictée de Pivot à la fin des années 80, elle publia un petit opuscule sur les particularités du français tel qu’il est parlé au Cameroun en 1995.
Cet ouvrage plein d’humour a été republié, revu et corrigé, sous le titre « Je parle camerounais : pour un renouveau francofaune ».

Mercedes Fouda was born in Cameroon. Writer, playwright and actor, she is interested in language in all its forms :
having won a prize of dictation, organised by Pivot in the late 80’s, she wrote a tiny book dealing with the particularities of the French language as it was spoken in Cameroon in 1995.
This work, full of humour has been published for the second time, corrected, and given the new title « Je parle Camerounais : pour un renouveau francofaune ».
