Son premier album, « Numey » (Cobalt 0294-2) était directement inspiré du folklore kunama. Pour ce second opus, Faytinga a élargi le champ de son inspiration à l’ensemble de l’Erythrée (traditions kunama mais aussi tigrinya et tigré), et introduit la guitare, la flûte et un jeu de percussions plus soutenu, tout en laissant toute sa place au krar (une sorte de lyre) et au wata (le violon monocorde traditionnel).

« Numey » (released by Cobalt in 2000) drew its inspiration from the Kumana tradition. For her new CD, Faytinga spans the whole Eritrea (Kumana but also Tigrinya and Tigre music), hence its name. She has also added guitars, a flute and more sustained percussion to the accompaniement by the krar lyre and the wata, the traditional one-string violin.
