On 4 September at 18.00, the ilb will open its doors for the 7th time.
David Grossman will give the opening speech « The Voice of the Individual ».
Aharon Appelfeld will read from his novel « Poland, a Green Country » and Shusha Guppy will portray the decaying Persian world in « The Blindfold Horse ».
The Nigerian recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature Wole Soyinka will end the opening evening with a reading from his book « You Must Set Forth At Dawn ».
In the following days, our programme will be in full swing. Our events are both entertaining and thought-provoking, and you are most welcome to join us!
