The Festival is open to electronic art productions (video, CD-ROM, DVD and Web) by Portuguese-speaking artists or those originating from the « southern circuit »: AFRICA, the Caribbean, Central America, Eastern Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Oceania and South-east Asia.
For the first time, it is possible to submit works on-line for the South Competitive Show at the site www.videobrasil.org.br. Besides the three awards in money established by the jury, there will be a special prize granted by the French General Consulate in partnership with Le Fresnoy – Studio National Des Arts Contemporains, in France.
To read the rules for the 14th edition and print the Entry form, access www.videobrasil.org.br. From April 7th onwards, you will be able to make an on-line submission at the same address. For further information about the Festival, e-mail us.
