It’s the great golden fish that swims up from the deep reaches of
our creativity: the urge to explore, understand, explain and express
our humanity. This is art: the spirit of human expression. If the
lights are out, this is what saves us: the ability to tell stories, make
pictures, dance and sing. Make light where there was darkness.
This is the National Arts Festival. Wow! What are you saving yourself
