Johannesburg, June 10 – Jazz musicians Ringo Madlingozi, Judith Sephuma and Jonas Gwangwa toast the launch of the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz which proudly celebrates its 10th anniversary in Newtown this year. Running from August 27 to 29, the 2009 line-up features artists from America, Switzerland, Spain and the Netherlands who will be joined by top performers from South Africa and the African Diaspora. The festival – now one of the most prestigious in Africa – has seen audiences numbers grow from 2000 to 20 000 last year.
