The Tenth International Summer Festival – Variations
Held from 1 to 30 July 2011 and entitled « Variations », the BA Tenth International Summer Festival features a variety of artistic performances encompassing music, theater, cinema and plastic arts.
The musical performances include Omar Khairat, different young bands, BA Orchestra, to name a few, in addition to the Nubian Folk Dance Troupe. The monthly cinema program screens contemporary Egyptian films under the theme « Anger Voices ».
Three artistic exhibitions will be held on the sidelines of the festival: the Alexandria International Symposium for Sculpture in Natural Material: Three-Dimensional Ceramics (Sixth Meeting), the Resident Artist Exhibition (Sixth Meeting) and the First Time Exhibition (Young Plastic Artists’ Sixth Meeting).
