Dancehall artiste Busy Signal joins the star studded line-up for Pulse’s concert series Superjam bring held on January 3 at PULS8. Busy will join Jamaican music superstars Sizzla Kolonji, Christopher Martin and dancehall queen Lady Saw as well as hot up-and-coming roots reggae artiste Chronixx,
Pulse’s director of Sales and Marketing, Safia Cooper announced the addition today. « We are delighted to confirm that the talented and highly sought after Busy Signal will grace the stage at Superjam 2013, » said Cooper. « This will be only his second appearance in a long time and his first for the new year. We are very excited. »
Since his recent return to the island, Busy has been in high demand and has signed on with Pulse to perform at the return of the historic concert series. « It’s very fitting to have Busy on the line-up for Superjam 2013. He himself is making a comeback after his time away and he fits the « best of the best » Superjam concept, » said Cooper.
In announcing the return of Superjam last week, Pulse Chairman, Kingsley Cooper said, « We believe that this is the best time to bring Superjam back. We have therefore booked some of today’s top artistes for a show that reflects the best of what’s currently happening in Jamaican music. »
