Adopted is an agency through which extended families in Africa adopt grown-up Europeans who are detached from their families. The film attends to three individuals finding their new families in Ghana. It highlights the protagonists' situation observing them as they travel to West Africa where they approach their new Godparents – misunderstanding are, of course, unavoidable.

Film will be screened in the presence of the Cameraman Grischa Schmitz and the Directors Rouven Rech & Gudrun F. Widlok.
