On the 13th of December 2014, Off Beat Ent. will launch a the first of a series of events titled “Off Beat”, which will be held quarterly.

Its main objective is to act as a launchpad for upcoming artists. As the name suggests, the show’s unique feature is its format that sees established artists opening the stage for “new-in-the-market” acts. Those attending each gig will always get to leave with new music from a new artist, having been treated to an evening of an excellently executed show.

This first edition features an eccentric artist: Kwame. His music, a blend of East African rhythm and African soul addresses issues that pertain to life and society in general. Since 2009, Kwame has released a number of singles namely: Mola, Holela, Getheremende and Hali Ya Maisha.
