The Goethe-Institut in collaboration with the Spanish Embassy presents a selection of movies coming from Spain. Adding a special taste to the film series this first screening night begins with Spanish wine tasting and food hosted by the Spanish embassy.

The movie is based on an actual occurrence. It tells the story of a Spanish ambassador who helped to save thousands of Jews from the Holocaust in early 1944 in Hungary. He was lodging them in safe Spanish houses in Budapest.
