Workshops and Poetry Slam in Tamale
Goethe-Institut Ghana and Ehalakasa, the Spoken word poetry movement will hold a poetry slam (competition) in Tamale.
On March 25th, five selected Senior High Schools will be slamming for the 2017 Ehalakasa Senior High School Poetry Slam Championship to commemorate the International Day of Poetry.
It is a time to appreciate and support poets and poetry around the world. It’s an initiative of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to be celebrated on or around March 21.
The students will take part in diefferent workshops as well.
In collaboration with the Regional Library Tamale and the Education Service.
