Notre mission est d’utiliser le cinéma et la culture pour apporter une exposition internationale au Libéria.
Le Festival du film Journey Home est une célébration du cinéma libérien et africain qui a lieu chaque année à Monrovia, au Libéria. Notre mission est de présenter le meilleur du cinéma libérien et africain, de promouvoir la croissance de l’industrie cinématographique locale et de favoriser les échanges culturels entre le Libéria et le reste du monde.
Notre festival présente un large éventail de films, y compris des longs et courts métrages, des documentaires, des animations et des œuvres expérimentales, tous créés par des cinéastes talentueux du Liberia et de tout le continent africain. Nous présentons des films qui racontent des histoires captivantes, mettent en lumière des problèmes importants et offrent de nouvelles perspectives sur le monde qui nous entoure.
En plus des projections de films, nous proposons des ateliers, des tables rondes et des opportunités de réseautage qui rassemblent des cinéastes, des professionnels de l’industrie et des passionnés de cinéma pour échanger des idées, collaborer sur des projets et établir des relations. Nous organisons également les Liberian Film Awards, qui célèbrent les acteurs, actrices, producteurs, cinéastes, techniciens du son, créateurs de bandes sonores, vidéastes et réalisateurs locaux pour leurs contributions exceptionnelles au cinéma libérien.
Le Festival du film Journey Home est fier d’être une plate-forme pour la promotion et la croissance du cinéma libérien et africain, et nous nous engageons à soutenir la prochaine génération de cinéastes alors qu’ils racontent leurs histoires et façonnent l’avenir du cinéma au Libéria et au-delà.

The Journey Home Film Festival is a celebration of Liberian and African cinema that takes place annually in Monrovia, Liberia. Our mission is to present the best of Liberian and African cinema, Promote the growth of the local film industry and foster cultural exchanges between Liberia and the rest of the world.
Our festival presents a wide range of films, including feature and short films, documentaries, animations and experimental works, all created by talented filmmakers from Liberia and across the African continent. We present films that tell compelling stories, highlight important issues and offer new perspectives on the world around us.
In addition to film screenings, we offer workshops, roundtables and networking opportunities that bring together filmmakers, industry professionals and film enthusiasts to exchange ideas, collaborate on projects and build relationships. We also host the Liberian Film Awards, which celebrate actors, actresses, producers, filmmakers, sound engineers, soundtrack creators, local video-makers and filmmakers for their outstanding contributions to Liberian cinema.
