With 7 weeks left until the big day, the HAFAD picnic committee staff is working diligently to insure the success of this event. There has been very positive feedback on the concept of a Haitian Day, when Haitians from all parts of the country will be represented. There will be signs posted throughout the park with the names of the different cities and towns of Haiti where people from these parts of the country can congregate. Everyone isa sked to start planning early and to come in as groups to represent their town of origin. A great idea would be to wear T-shirts with the name of your town or to highlight the blue & red colors of the flag. Most of all, do not forget your Haitian flag.
