Après avoir terminé son service militaire, Esghayer rentre dans son village natal. Mais à sa grande surprise, il le trouve plonger dans le chaos suite à de grandes inondations. Esghayer cherche son père au milieu de la foule et des ruines mais ne le trouve pas. Il apprend néanmoins que son père a trouvé refuge dans un abri au sommet d’une montagne avoisinante. Esghayer entame alors un voyage initiatique dans la montagne, errant sur le chemin de l’abri…
