The film « Ward No.6 « tells the experience of two girls within the women’s prison after being arrested in a political demonstration, the first named  » Rasha » and she’s works in the press field as a journalist and the second named « Asmaa » she’s an active member in human rights field, both are belong to the political opposition movements in Egypt.

Rasha and Asmaa were supposed to be imprisoned in a special wing politicians, but the prison administration punished them and supplied them in section with large numbers of women who have committed crimes such as murder named « Ward No.6 ».
