2011, the Egyptian revolution has just broken out. A group of friends film each other. The film encompasses the Egyptian people’s cry for unity and at the same time it catches the intensity of human perception in the midst of a sudden historical drama.

وثائقي ½ ثورة هو تجربة شخصية للمخرجين حيث كانا يصوران على نحو يومي لمدة 11 يوماً منذ بدء الثورة، ما كان يحدث في وسط القاهرة خلال ثورة 25 يناير – كانون الثاني، بحكم أنهما يعيشان هناك. يصور الفيلم بدقة ما حدث بالفعل خلال هذه الأيام من مناظير مختلفة تجسد واقع الصراع الذي خاضه المصريون أثناء الثورة. ويرصد الفيلم جوانب جديدة مما حدث في وسط القاهرة تصور يوميات نضال الشعب المصري خلال الأيام الأولى من الثورة. ويحوي الفيلم لقطات نادرة عما حدث من جرائم ومؤامرات، منها توزيع حقائب سيوف وسكاكين على البلطجية من قبل عناصر الأمن.



½ ثورة يمثل تجربة عاطفية تعكس تجربة شخصية من الربيع العربي حيث تحاول مجموعة من الأصدقاء من سكان وسط المدينة البقاء معاً على مدار الـ 11 يوم الأولى من أحداث ثورة 25 يناير وما حدث خلالها في وسط المدينة حيث يقيمان. يعرض الفيلم ما حدث في وسط المدينة ويجسد الصراع الذي عاشه المصريون من وجهات نظر مختلفة أثناء الثورة. كما يسجل الفيلم ما حدث في وسط المدينة من مختلف الجوانب حيث يصف الصراع الذي خاضه المصريون على مدار الأيام الأولى من الثورة.
