L’attention qu’accorde depuis toujours Everson à la classe ouvrière de Mansfield trouve sa manifestation la plus puissante dans le triptyque « Neighborhood Trilogy », qui se compose du moyen métrage « Company Line » et de deux films courts, « Watchworks » et « The Camps ». Les trois films, évoluant à travers l’histoire et le temps, saisissent les transformations de la classe ouvrière afro-américaine locale.
