Après la mort soudaine de mon père, Prof K.F. Msangi, en janvier 2003, je me suis retrouvée de retour à New York deux semaines plus tard, avec rien d’autre qu’un album contenant quelques vieilles photos. J’ai pris le téléphone, pour commencer à appeler ces amis et la famille proche pour leur demander ce qu’ils retenaient le plus de lui.

After the sudden death and whirlwind funeral of my father, Prof K.F. Msangi, in January 2003, I found myself back in New York two weeks later with nothing but an album of some old pictures. I picked up the phone and started calling his friends and close family to ask them what they remembered most about his life.
