Par un même processus de coopération, 6 artistes et réalisateurs ont élaboré avec des travailleuses de 5 pays des représentations croisées de femmes au travail. Chaque réalisateur a filmé dans son pays.

Parce qu’il partage la culture des femmes qu’il interroge, en respectant le regard de l’autre, donné par les mots, les gestes, l’attitude, ainsi s’éloigne un peu la prise de pouvoir de l’un sur l’autre, on tient à distance le stéréotype, le préjugé ; quelque chose peut advenir dans l’écriture partagée. Il y a eu 120h de tournage, les images ont été mises en commun et deux films réalisés. En 2012, le court métrage « ouvrières ? » puis en 2013, le long métrage, « Travailleuses… ».

Women workers in textiles talk about their works while being focused by six artists and film makers in 5 countries. Who are they? Why do they engage in textile? We take time to listen, to see, and let the film mingles the sights. We are looking beyond what we have already known, wish to meet women who have their fingers on the pulse of textile industry. The film wonders through a world factory, along with the women, to labor, to live, to revolt unexpectedly. The picture of women and the work changes by then.

By a cooperation process, six artists and filmmakers in five countries have developed with women workers their a mingled representation of work. Each one filmed in his/her country.

The artist / filmmaker share the culture of women interviewed, preserve their sights given by the words, the gestures and also their attitudes. To take away the stereotype, prejudice, anything could occured to the writing of the film. We have 120 hours of rush and finally two films were made. First a short film in 2012 « women workers?  » and then in 2013, a feature film « Travailleuses… ».
