La jeune Nawara travaille au service de la riche famille d’Ossama Bey, alors protégée par le gouvernement de Mubarak. Elle vit dans un quartier défavorisé où elle est obligée de partager sa chambre avec sa grand-mère. La révolution de 2011 apporte de profonds bouleversements dans la vie de tous : ses employeurs décident de préserver leur sécurité en quittant le pays et lui laissent une importante somme d’argent. Face à la perspective d’une vie meilleure, Nawara et son fiancé, Aly, se mettent en quête d’une maison.

A girl from a popular neighborhood called Nawara (Mena Shalaby), living a love story during the period in which the twenty-fifth of January revolution broke out and after. the movie reviews the impact of what was happening in Egypt during this period, influencing Nawara and Her love story.

Every day Nawara goes to work along a path that takes her between the alleys of the poor neighbourhood and the roads that lead to the villas within a luxury compound. Every day, on her way to work, she carries the worries of the people in her neighbourhood and their simple dreams. Little does know that the spring of 2011 will bring her something unexpected.
