Moji affronte une série de situations qui échappent à son contrôle. Plus que de faire face, elle décides de « fuir » dans l’espoir qu’à la recherche de son frère, elle le trouve et qu’elle se retrouve elle-même et puisse avoir le temps de réfléchir à sa vie et prendre ces décisions qui changent une vie et qui vont la confrontrer à la société dans laquelle elle se cherche.

BEYOND BLOOD is a story of discovery. An uninflected series of scenes or moments that take us on a journey of how a woman
and our central character, Moji rediscovers herself. Moji is faced with a series of situations far beyond her control. Rather than confront the situation, she decides to « run » away in the hope that in her search for her brother, she will rediscover him and herself and have the time to think through her life and make those life changing decisions that will put her on the path of confrontation of the society in which she
finds herself.

Moji är en välutbildad ung kvinna med en stark passion för rättvisa och jämlikhet. Hon finansierar The Mansion, ett hem som hjälper drogberoende och prostituerade. Det är en skarp kontrast mot hennes egna priviligerade bakgrund och det är många i hennes närhet som inte stödjer hennes beslut att hjälpa de som har det svårt. Då Moji får reda på att hennes fästman har varit otrogen med deras bästa vän, innan det väntande bröllopet, faller hennes värld samman. Men den personliga utmaning hon ställs inför ger henne samtidigt styrka att utmana traditioner och oskrivna regler i det samhälle hon tillhör. Bedragen, men inte utan hopp, hittar Moji vägen till de positiva förändringar i sitt eget och andras liv som hon alltid har längtat efter.
