Un homme riche et parvenu et qui prétend avoir des idées évoluées, n’accepte pas que sa propre sœur veuille épouser un homme de la caste des forgerons, c’est à dire un paria dans son village natal.
Une jeune étudiante d’une famille qui se croit « évoluée » ne peut épouser le garçon qu’elle aime parce qu’il est de la caste des forgerons. Dans la société africaine, les forgerons sont considérés comme des parias.

Blood of pariahs (The)
A rich and upstart man who claims to have evolved ideas, does not accept that his own sister wants to marry a man of the blacksmith caste, ie an outcast in his native village.
A young student from a family of people who think they are « educated » cannot marry the man she loves because he is from a class of blacksmiths. In her society, blacksmiths are treated like pariahs.
A young student from a family which considers itself « progressive » cannot marry the boy she loves as he comes from the caste of the blacksmiths who are viewed as pariahs.
