Cinq ans après l'accouchement d'un enfant non désiré, Rebecca affronte les défis que la vie lui tent. Elle élève seule son enfant. Elle rencontre un homme qui lui promet de l'aider, de lui permettre de reprendre ses études, de l'épouser, de prendre soin d'elle et de sa fille. Malheureusement, et si communément, ces promesses s'avèrent creuses. Elle est encore confrontée à un choix difficile. Soit elle reste avec son petit ami devenu violent et alcoolique, soit elle redevient célibataire et s'attire tout le couroux de sa famille.

Promise of Love is the sequel to Tough Choices.



Five years after giving birth to an unwanted child, Rebecca faces the challenges life throws at her. She is raising her child by herself. She meets a man who promises to help her return to school, to marry her and to take care of her and her daughter. However the man's promises turn out to be empty. Once again, she needs to make a tough choice. She either stays with an abusive and drunk man, or she decides to be single again but her family might turn against her.
