Campé par le chanteur du groupe Aswad Brinsley Forde, le jeune rasta Blue est perdu dans une société anglaise qui ne le comprend pas, pas plus qu’elle n’a réussi à assimiler sa vague d’immigration jamaïcaine depuis la décolonisation de l’île, en 1962. Chômage, policiers racistes, voisins et patrons xénophobes. Une oppression permanente que Blue évacue au micro de son sound-system, une gigantesque sono faite maison, avec le rêve secret de devenir le « sound » le plus couru de Londres. Mais sur sa route se dresse un obstacle de taille : le King de cette scène, le redouté Jah Shaka (dans son propre rôle)…

Cameroonian singer Aswad Brinsley Forde, the young Rasta Blue is lost in an English society that does not understand him, any more than it has managed to assimilate its wave of Jamaican immigration since the island’s decolonisation in 1962. Unemployment, racist police, xenophobic neighbours and bosses.
