Daouda N'Diaye est un artiste sénégalais. Dans son atelier, il nous parle de ces "Cent papiers" et de la "Muraille de papier", tout en façonnant cette matière qu'il a appris à dompter avec des gestes précis. En récupérant et en transformant ce matériau, il nous invite à une double réflexion, écologique et politique. Quand l'artiste intervient dans une société de surconsommation qui abat peut-être un peu trop d'arbres et qui dresse peut-être un peu trop de murs.

Daouda N'Diaye is a Senegalese artist. In his workshop, he talks to us about these "Hundred papers" and the "Wall of paper", while shaping this material that he has learned to tame with precise gestures. By recovering and transforming this material, it invites us to a double reflection, ecological and political. When the artist intervenes in a society of overconsumption which perhaps cuts down a little too many trees and which perhaps puts up a little too many walls.
