d’immeubles sans qualité scintillant dans le calme de la nuit, à quoi succédera,
vue de jour, cette même ville, comme évidée. Douceur et pas de côté, voilà
le pari de Dania Reymond-Boughenou filmant la Rouguière, cité de Marseille,
au-delà des clichés, loin de l’agitation et du pittoresque attendus. Il s’agit de
filmer ce qui n’a pas d’image, de capter ce qui fait l’épaisseur et la chair des
lieux, de transmettre l’esprit qui les irrigue. Se succèdent, entendus off, de
lointains souvenirs d’habitants, comme cette femme se remémorant le choc
de son arrivée d’Algérie ou cet homme relatant des bribes d’enfance. Récits qui
accompagneront une lente descente, des mots, des souvenirs, vers des corps
vus et entendus à hauteur humaine. Dania Reymond-Boughenou entreprend,
par touches et par nappes successives, de filmer l’invisible, comme des ondes
vibrantes faisant écho à la violence des récits entendus, ajointés aux grands
mouvements de l’Histoire, la guerre d’Algérie, le SIDA des années 1980, ou les
ravages plus récents de la drogue. Des présences vibrantes, à l’image du vent
qui agite les frondaisons sur lesquelles le film s’attarde en d’hypnotiques et
caressants travellings. Déjouant les genres filmiques, mêlant les temporalités,
s’autorisant du fantastique, elle déjoue les codes et déplace les assignations. Et
s’emploie avec un lyrisme inattendu, porté par de discrètes et mélancoliques
bouffées musicales, à délier et relier les corps et les voix, à rendre palpable ce
qui a eu lieu. Pour incarner un monde hanté et, comme l’indique la constellation
du titre, mettre en lumière les vides et les absents dont la lumière blafarde
