Karl est un jeune sans abri. Il campe au bord d'un canal parisien et vit à la débrouille. Karl soigne son apparence pour cacher son statut de sdf. Il côtoie Fred, un compère plus âgé et bien plus sombre. Dans sa vie faite de hauts et de bas, Karl va rencontrer une jeune femme, Alicia, et son jeune fils Kelyan, qui vont bouleverser son quotidien. Seulement son passé et sa situation le perturbent. Des choix et épreuves s'imposent à lui. Lancé par son infatigable optimisme, il espère triompher de sa vie.

A homeless youth at the edge of a Parisian canal hides his homeless status when he meets a lady and her young son who changes his life forever.
Karl is a homeless youth. He is settled at the edge of a Parisian canal and manages by himself. Karl takes care over his appearance to hide his homeless status. He rubs shoulder with Fred, a friend older and darker. In this life of ups and downs, Karl will meet a young lady, Alicia, and her son Kelyan, who will disrupt his daily life. Disturbed by his past and his current situation, but propelled by a tireless optimism, he hopes to triumph over his life...
