Aida (la mère de la réalisatrice) lutte contre la maladie d’Alzheimer et la perte de mémoire, « retournant » fréquemment à Yafa de sa jeunesse, jusqu’à son retour ultime. Ce film est un hommage au passé et une tentative de restaurer la mémoire individuelle et collective des Palestiniens qui ont été empêchés de retourner chez eux même après la mort.

Aida (the director’s mother) struggles with Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss, frequently « returning » to the Yafa of her youth, until her ultimate return. This film is a tribute to the past and an attempt to restore the individual and collective memory of Palestinians who have been prevented from returning home even after death.
