En 1928, Virginia Woolf écrit Orlando, le premier roman dans lequel le personnage principal change de sexe au milieu de l’histoire. Un siècle plus tard, l’écrivain et militant transgenre Paul B. Preciado décide d’envoyer une lettre filmée à Virginia Woolf. Son Orlando est sortie de sa fiction et vit une vie qu’elle n’aurait jamais pu imaginer. Preciado organise un casting et réunit 26 personnes trans et non-binaires contemporaines, de huit à 70 ans, qui incarnent Orlando.

In 1928, Virginia Woolf wrote Orlando, the first novel in which the main character changes sex in the middle of the story. A century later, trans writer and activist Paul B. Preciado decides to send a film letter to Virginia Woolf. Her Orlando has come out of her fiction and is living a life she could have never imagined. Preciado organises a casting and gathers 26 contemporary trans and non-binary people, from eight to 70 years old, who embody Orlando.
