Ses enfants se mêlent trois temps : la mémoire du génocide, les procès Gacaca de 2005 et la résilience du village où ceux qui ont exterminé et ceux qui ont aimés reprennent une vie commune. Le film tente d’approcher une vérité, de restaurer leur existence et l’histoire d’une colline pour toutes les collines.
