Une fille née au moment même où commençait la sécheresse rencontre un mystérieux oiseau de pluie.

Alors qu’une petite fille s’efforce de trouver sa place dans le village, un oiseau de pluie mythique apparaît et les entraîne dans un voyage pour découvrir le secret de leurs étranges origines et entrevoir une chance de mettre fin à la sécheresse qui dévaste leur communauté.
