Sur une route déserte au beau milieu de la nuit, Shula tombe sur la dépouille de son oncle. Alors que des funérailles se préparent, Shula et ses cousines mettent en lumière les secrets enfouis de leur famille de la classe moyenne zambienne. Dans ce film surréaliste et vibrant, la cinéaste Rungano Nyoni sonde les mensonges que nous nous racontons à nous-mêmes.

Une comédie dramatique explorant les relations humaines en Zambie et en Guinée.
