Lila, une jeune femme belgo-marocaine, est confrontée aux jugements constants sur son choix de porter le voile. En se préparant pour un entretien d’embauche, elle reçoit le soutien de ses amies, mais le chemin vers le rendez-vous est marqué par des regards critiques et des remarques blessantes. Lors de l’entretien, l’employeur·euse lui demande de retirer son foulard, ce qu’elle refuse, écourtant ainsi l’entretien.
Dévastée, Lila rentre chez elle et, dans un moment de désespoir, arrache son voile. Finalement, en face de son miroir, elle décide de se réapproprier son corps et son choix, affirmant ainsi son droit de décider pour elle-même.

Lila, a young Belgian-Moroccan woman, is faced with constant judgments about her choice to wear the veil. Preparing for a job interview, she receives support from her friends, but the path to the appointment is marked by critical looks and hurtful remarks. During the interview, the employer asks her to remove her scarf, which she refuses, thus shortening the interview.
Devastated, Lila goes home and in a moment of despair, tears off her veil. Finally, in front of her mirror, she decides to reappropriate her body and her choice, thus asserting her right to decide for herself.
