SALIM is a biographical drama series that traces the exceptional life of Salim Halali, icon of the Arab Music-Hall and flamboyant king of Parisian nights. Queer artist pioneer of the Arab world to achieve international fame, he embodies a free spirit, bold and avant-garde, carried by a devouring passion for music. Through his journey and his work, the series explores the complex tensions between identity, freedom and artistic expression, against the backdrop of the great historical upheavals of the 20th century.
