Nadira, une jeune fille de vingt-six ans, est technicienne caméra dans un service de renseignements. Son travail consiste à placer des caméras dans les appartements et les villas fréquentés par des hommes de pouvoir. On les filme dans des situations intimes pour les faire chanter, au cas où ils tentent d'utiliser leurs pouvoirs à des fins personnelles.
Son patron a été arrêté pour avoir fait des films pour son propre compte ; mais il manque une cassette vidéo. Son supérieur est parti, elle reste la seule à connaître le contenu de la cassette manquante. Et pour la protéger, son superviseur la met en prison.
