Dans un quartier urbain du Ghana pris entre mémoire coloniale et désillusions contemporaines, "Ego Reach We All (Our Time Will Come)" suit le parcours de plusieurs personnages dont les ambitions et les peurs se croisent au fil d'événements qui dépassent leur seule volonté. À travers une narration polyphonique où s'entremêlent twi, ga et pidgin, Amartei Armar scrute la façon dont l'ego - individuel ou communautaire - façonne les relations, nourrit les tensions et empêche parfois la solidarité de se construire. En observant une jeunesse qui oscille entre désir de partir, nécessité de rester et urgences du quotidien, le film interroge la possibilité d'un "temps à venir" où chacun puisse trouver sa place sans renier ni son histoire ni celle de la collectivité.
