Atta Oko, un pêcheur ghanéen traditionnel, est contraint de prendre sa retraite, jusqu'à ce qu'un partenaire improbable bouleverse son quotidien : un poisson ! Moderne et bavard. Emportés dans une série de péripéties aussi chaotiques que comiques, Atta et son "associé" arpentent les rues vibrantes d'Accra, avec un rêve audacieux : posséder leur propre bateau de pêche.
