Badr est un petit garçon de 10 ans qui vit à Safi. Un jour, il assiste à un spectacle de marionnettes qui représente la lutte d'un pêcheur avec un monstre marin....
Badre a 10 ans. Il vit avec ses parents à Safi, petit village de pêcheurs sur la côte marocaine. Un jour, un théâtre de marionnettes ambulant arrive dans son quartier. Fasciné, il assiste à une représentation où l'horrible dragon des mers terrasse et dévore le pauvre pêcheur. Quand le lendemain, son père ne revient pas de sa pêche quotidienne, Bader, inquiet, s'en va trouver le marionnettiste. Changera-t-il le cours de l'histoire ?

Badr is, 10 years, lives in Safi. One day, He attends a puppet show which represents the struggle of a fisherman with a sea monster.
The 10-year-old Badre lives with his parents in a small coastal town, Safi in Morocco. His father is a fisherman, like most men in the village. Every day, Badre waits for him to return from the sea. One day a traveling puppet theater appears. Badre is upset when the performance ends with the play's main character, a poor fisherman, being overpowered by a sea monster.
