Mohamed n'a qu'un rêve: partir en France pour assister à une course avec pari sur les chevaux. Autour de Mohamed, il y a Ali, le vendeur de loterie aveugle, Fatima, qui veut rejoindre sa mère à Gibraltar, et Elisabeth, une Française qui habite Tanger et qui s'est amourachée de Mohamed. Mohamed continue à préparer son départ, chaque fois imminent. Mais aura-t-il, un jour, le courage de vivre son rêve ?

Mohamed has only one dream : going to France to attend a horse betting race. Next to Mohamed: there’s Ali the blind lottery vendor, Fatima who wants to join her mother in Gibraltar, and Elisabeth, a French girl who lives in Tangier and who fell in love with Mohamed. Mohamed keeps on preparing his departure that is always imminent. But will he ever have the courage to live his dream?
