Quelque part dans le monde, c’est la fin de la guerre. Un soldat blessé se réveille dans une chambre d’hôpital. Il découvre à ses côtés, un autre soldat invalide. Malgré leurs souffrances et leurs handicaps, les deux hommes vont trouver un moyen inattendu d’imaginer ce qui se passe à l’extérieur.
