Hamed, ami de Marcel veut construire une crèche dans la cour de son père Ladji Moulaye fervent musulman. Un rêve impossible. Moulaye veut faire de son fils un imam ; il veut qu’il apprenne le Coran. Hamed ne peut pas se démarquer de ses amis. Le concour de crèches les motive, et ils sont déterminés à offrir au petit Jésus une deuxième crèche de noël. Face à l’intransigeance de son père, Hamed est affecté et n’arrive plus à travailler à l’école. Il tombe même malade et conduit à l’hôpital dans un état critique…
