Rufus et son oncle Alpha, deux Ivoiriens, tiennent un hôtel vieillissant dans lʼarrière-pays de Perpignan. Au début de lʼété, Alpha retourne en Côte dʼIvoire vendre les terrains familiaux pour relancer son affaire en France, avant de la léguer à son neveu. En lʼattendant, Rufus garde lʼhôtel avec Monika, sa petite amie, mais le voyage dʼAlpha au pays va bouleverser ses plans.

Rufus and his uncle Alpha, two Ivorians, run an aging hotel in the hinterland of Perpignan. At the beginning of the summer, Alpha returns to Côte dʼIvoire to sell the family land to restart his business in France, before passing it on to his nephew. In the meantime, Rufus keeps the hotel with Monika, his girlfriend, but Alphaʼs trip home will upset his plans.
