Olivier Ker Ourio est réunionnais, musicien de la scène jazz internationale (harmonica) et compositeur. Depuis longtemps, il rêvait d’une rencontre musicale avec Danyel Waro.
Cette rencontre a eu lieu : d’un côté le groove du maloya, de l’autre la sophistication du jazz, et de très beaux moments entre deux artistes qui se sont choisis

Musician Olivier Ker Orio is from Reunion Island and
for the last ten years he has traveled the length and
breadth of the international jazz scene. For some
time he has dreamt of a musical return to Reunion.
This dream becomes a reality when he meets Danyel
Waro, one of the most important Maloya singers of
the island. After three weeks of rehearsal, Olivier
Ker Ourio, his Jazz Quartet and Danyel Waro play
Waro’s repertoire with jazz arrangements. It is for
both parties an adventure into the unknown.
