The author of this book is one of Ghana’s foremost writers of fiction, particularly for children, and is also a literary critic and Professor of Classics at the University of Cape Coast. This novel for young adults is set in Ghana and tells of the search by five teenagers for the treasure of gold reputedly hidden away by Asebu Amanfi, eponymous founder of Asebu, near Moree in the Fanti area.
