The track features a mid tempo ragga hip-hop fusion beat and has already been lined up for radio release across the African continent while SimbaTagz is currently working on his Debut commercial album release titled Natural Selection.
“The industry is growing in an exciting way and though not perfect we are building towards a place where we will be respected and acknowledged on the continentals and internationally,” Tagz said.
His administrative director, Simbarashe Goredema said CDs would soon be printed, a music video produced and there will be a tour early next year.
He said Don’t Leave would be available firstly online on www.africanhhb.com before other mediums and giveaways will be available during the festive season.
“This is a big collaboration for SimbaTagz as it will introduce him to the African market and give more musical opportunities like producing for artistes outside the country,” he added.
Goredema said SimbaTagz produced the song and the song was made possible through a producer in Nigeria called Sarz.
According to Goredema, concerning this track, Ice Prince commented saying that “it’s a crazy exciting song, something different from what I’m used to and I had fun making the record.”
SimbaTagz has in the past collaborated with other local artistes including Tehn Diamond and Junior Brown among others.
“His near future plans include the next song, an up-tempo one which is coming soon coming off of a jam packed year of features and productions such as Ma1 by Peekay feat Ba Shupi, Muridzo by Ba Shupi featuring Souljah Love and co-production credits on Peekay feat Busy Signal’s Show Me Love,” he said.
