Création d’une plateforme dédiée aux cinématographiques d’Afrique et de ses diasporas.
SEETAN est une plateforme virtuelle qui propose des séances de cinéma en streaming mettant en valeur les cinémas d’Afrique et ses Diasporas.
Notre souhait est de concevoir un environnement où le spectateur à
l’occasion de découvrir une programmation riche et orientée par le regard et l’exigence artistique de notre sélection.
WHAT WE DO
* Faciliter l’accès en ligne aux productions cinématographiques d’Afrique et de ses diasporas à travers la création d’une plateforme dédiée
&
* Proposer un outil de renforcement aux industries audiovisuelles africaines
* Offrir de la visibilité aux nouvelles générations de réalisateurs / Rapprocher le public et les oeuvres / Développer une programmation et un catalogue de contenus de qualité

Dans le cadre de la préparation de notre programmation, nous lançons donc un appel à films. Nous serions heureux de considérer toute proposition en rapport avec notre ligne éditorial qui nous est adressé :

Launching an online distribution platform, to promote African cinema and its Diaspora.
Gorée Island Cinema (Senegal), is a cultural company that works to promote African cinema and its Diaspora.
We are about to launch « Seetaan », an online distribution platform. Far from the usual way of accumulating contents of big platforms, our wish is to offer a meticulous object whose richness will reside in its capacity to emphasize each film that will integrate its programming.
In this ensemble, we remain driven by the same concern: to provoke encounters between a spectator and our African and diasporic cinemas.
Seetaan will offer two free streaming sessions per month, each consisting of one to three films. Participants will be able to access the platform by registration with a limited number of available seats. The screenings will be accompanied by interviews and other vignettes that will enrich the viewer experience.
As part of the preparation of our programming, we are launching a call for films. We would be happy to consider any proposal related to our editorial line that is sent to us either directly:

– or via the form available on our website goreecinema.com/seetaan.
We will be happy to discuss with you further the modalities of distribution.
