Le Festival du Film Court Francophone de Vaulx-en-Velin [Un Poing c’est court] se déroule dans la Métropole de Lyon, France
La 24è édition du Festival du Film Court Francophone de Vaulx-en-Velin [Un Poing c’est court] démarre vendredi 19 janvier 2024.
L’Albanie est le pays à l’honneur.
Acteur et réalisateur français, Jean-Pierre Darroussin propose une Carte Blanche avec sa sélection de cinq films courts dont un qu’il a réalisé : « C’est trop con », 1992.
Immense artiste international, le Sénégalais Wasis Diop est le Président du Jury Professionnel, aux côtés de Flonja Kodheli (actrice, pianiste et réalisatrice albanaise), Jérome Diamant-Berger (réalisateur, producteur et inventeur français), Bärbel Mauch (productrice et programmatrice allemande), Mounir Slama (réalisateur et médecin français), Mohamed Didi (réalisateur et activiste français).
Le jury Presse est composé de trois femmes journalistes : Djia Mambu (Belgique / Congo RDC, Présidente), Pauline Jeannot (France) et Sidney Cadot-Sambosi (France / Angola).
Le Festival du Film Court Francophone de Vaulx-en-Velin est né en 2001 avec pour objectif de sensibiliser le public vaudais à l’image, de susciter le débat autour de films de l’espace francophone.
Dénommé Festival du film court francophone – [Un poing c’est court] depuis 2012, le festival se veut engagé et percutant. Ancré sur la ville de Vaulx-en-Velin (Métropole de Lyon), il en est devenu un événement incontournable.
La 24è édition a lieu du 19 au 27 janvier 2024. La compétition des 4 programmes a lieu les samedi 20 et dimanche 21 janvier, en présence de cinéastes et invités.
L’affiche de la 24ème édition a été réalisée à partir d’une œuvre du photographe albanais Roland Tasho. La photo a été prise au Festival folklorique national de Gjirokastër (dans le sud de l’Albanie, ville natale de l’écrivain albanais Ismail Kadaré). French Actor and Film Director, Jean-Pierre Darroussin has a Carte Blanche with his selection of five short dramas among them one he directed: « C’est trop con », 1992.
World class artist, Senegalese Wasis Diop is the President of the Professional Jury, alongside Flonja Kodheli (Albanian actress, pianist and director), Jérome Diamant-Berger (French director, producer and inventor), Bärbel Mauch (German producer and programmer), Mounir Slama (French director and doctor), Mohamed Didi (French director and activist).
The Press jury is composed of three women journalists: Djia Mambu (Belgium/ Congo DRC, President), Pauline Jeannot (France) and Sidney Cadot-Sambosi (France/ Angola).
The Festival du Film Court Francophone de Vaulx-en-Velin (Vaulx-en-Velin Francophone Short Film Festival) was born in 2001 with the objective of raising awareness among the Vaulx-en-velin audience about moving pictures, to stimulate debate around films from the Francophone space.
Called [A fist is short] since 2012, the Vaulx-en-Velin Francophone Short Film Festival wants to be committed and impactful. Anchored on the city of Vaulx-en-Velin (Métropole de Lyon), it has become an unmissable event.
The 24th edition takes place from 19 to 27 January 2024. The competition of the 4 programs takes place on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 January, with filmmakers and guests in attendance.
