If there is one person who has a lot to thank for blessings in 2014 is Christine Mbabazi. The 24-year-old TV and Radio 10 personality introduced her Irish fiancé Hugh Delaney to her parents in Kayonza District, on Boxing Day, before the two exchanged vows in front of 400 guests who they would later host to a lavish reception in the capital Kigali.

She spoke to Joseph Oindo about her new role as a wife and her plans for the future
